Photography vs. AI

I love photography and I like generative AI. I don’t like them together. Photography holds a dear place in my heart. When I quit my job in 2017 to travel, it was with the purpose of taking more photos in new places. I’m sitting on an archive of thousands of images that I have never shared. I don’t take photos for other people, I take them for myself. This week, Adobe released a beta version of Photoshop.

I have too many interests and not enough time. This website is a place for me to post essays, book notes, anecdotes, and observations on the things that I care about.

Now

I've mostly left the big social media platforms. I haven't closed the accounts but I rarely log into them and never post anything on these sites anymore. Instead, I've decided to create a 'Now' page. Based on nownownow by Derek Sivers. It is updated once a month with images from the previous month and some anecdotes.
